Brian C Savage, CEO, Director

Mr. Savage is an entrepreneurial business executive with a long history of identifying, building, growing, and transforming mining and metals businesses throughout the world. His expertise extends across commodity and capital markets, organizational development, and strategic growth initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Mr. Savage has founded and co-founded several businesses focused on developing and advancing mining operations in challenging jurisdictions, including Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia, Guinea, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). His recent experience in the DRC has allowed him to develop a profound understanding of the manganese markets including the production of high-value, high-purity manganese products for the electric vehicle and enery storage markets. Mr. Savage earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines.

What are your key goals for the next 3, 6 and 12 months?

3 Months:

• Initiate mineralogy, ore characterization, crushing, and grinding studies to support HPMSM plant design
• Advance metallurgical test work and preliminary flowsheet optimization
• Complete a scoping study for the HPMSM processing plant
• Initiate baseline environmental studies at the Emily site
• Engage with U.S. government funding agencies (DoD, DOE, DFC, USTDA, and related programs) to align project scope, technical workstreams, and funding pathways
• Continue proactive stakeholder engagement, emphasizing transparency, trust, and community support

6 Months:

• Optimize ore characterization, crushing, and grinding parameters to refine plant design assumptions
• Develop a comprehensive mine permitting roadmap and initiate ore and waste characterization studies
• Initiate the Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for the HPMSM processing plant
• Continue engagement with U.S. government funding agencies, advancing discussions from project alignment toward defined funding structures and application readiness
• Maintain and deepen stakeholder engagement, including local, state, tribal, and regulatory stakeholders

12 Months:

• Continue and advance metallurgical test work and process optimization, incorporating results into refined flowsheets and design criteria
• Advance the HPMSM plant PFS, including detailed mass balances, equipment selection, site layout, and updated capital and operating cost estimates
• Refine mine development assumptions, integrating updated ore characterization, waste studies, and preliminary mine planning
• Advance environmental and permitting workstreams, building on baseline studies and supporting permit-application readiness
• Maintain engagement with U.S. government funding agencies, aligning refined technical scope and cost estimates with funding and cost-share opportunities
